Every home owner wants to know how much their property is worth. Prices have long since stabilized for the most part here in Arizona and the dramatic shifts in upward and downward pricing have largely ceased. buyers: What I learned in Real Estate this week - 7/19/15 - 07/19/15 08:42 AM

Fresh off the heels of last week's crazy condo neighbor fiasco it's time for this week's reflections about what I learned in real estate. I was referred to a new buyer this week who had previously been working with a different agent months ago but did not feel they "clicked" with them so they had completely halted their home search. The reasons they felt they weren't being properly represented are for another blog post on another day, however, I was happy to assist them in any way that I could.
We had multiple phone, text, and email conversations this week going over the basics of what … (21 comments)

Purchasing a home for the very first time can be a joyous yet stressful event. Whether you've been a long time renter, or are a young millennial ready to spread your wings and fly out on your own, buying a home is a much more complicated process than searching properties on the Internet. Mortgage lending guidelines are tighter and more restrictive. Banks and lending institutions can require jumping through and around many … (77 comments)

buyers: What to do when a Seller plays Hardball - 01/19/15 11:50 PM

After months of looking at homes you finally find that one special house you just can't wait to call home. You and your Real Estate Agent carefully research all of the comparable homes in the area to formulate an offer and you can't help but notice that all of the other homes in the neighborhood sold for considerably less than the house you want to purchase. They all have similar size yards, upgrades in the home, and are all very close to the same size and square footage. So why is this particular homeowner asking so much more for their property?
