Information About COVID-19 From CDC, NCDHHS, Red Cross North Carolina's Governor Cooper has declared a state of emergency this past Tuesday to prepare for and respond to the spread of coronavirus. This action provides North Carolina government agencies a better ability to coordinate and communicate with each other, and also provides the state with more flexibility to focus on increasing access to medical supplies and countering price gouging.
