DON'T FOREGET! The 14th Annual Steve’s Coats for Kids collection/drive which began in December 2017 is still ongoing through January 14, 2018. This week has been especially frigid in the Charlotte area... in fact it was colder in the Charlotte metro area than in Alaska! The need for coats for kids is great, especially in these weather conditions.
All coat donations are being distributed through Crisis Assistance Ministry, an independent non-profit agency serving Charlotte since 1975, focusing on preventing homelessness and preserving dignity for Charlotte-Mecklenburg's working poor by providing assistance with rent, utilities, clothing and furniture.

The 14th Annual Steve’s Coats for Kids collection/drive begins today, December 11th, 2017 and goes through January 14, 2018 with the participation of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department where collection bins are being delivered so you can contribute starting today. All coat donations will be distributed through Crisis Assistance Ministry, an independent non-profit agency serving Charlotte since 1975, focusing on preventing homelessness and preserving dignity for Charlotte-Mecklenburg's working poor by providing assistance with rent, utilities, clothing and furniture.
