Is Clutter really A Bad Thing?

I saw a post that grabbed my attention with Feng Shui and clutter. The question was, Is Clutter really A Bad Thing?
As with any practice there will always be differences in opinion and much of that will stem from one's own personal experience. In general yes the word 'clutter and de-cluttering' has become a marketing tactic, yet in Feng Shui the understanding of this delves deeper then what appears on the surface.
Feng Shui will look at clutter as an energy gauge. Is there openness in your home, which mirrors openness in your mind and even heart. If … (19 comments)

de clutter: Does it Matter How Clean your Closests, Drawers and Cabinets are? - 06/23/14 12:58 AM
Does it Matter How Clean your Closets, Drawers and Cabinets are?

Feng Shui leaves not stone un-turned which includes your closets, drawers and cabinets.  Objects always tell a story and have some kind of profound connection with your sub-conscious mind.
Consider that perspective when clearing out and it may help you understand the greater importance of what it means to "de clutter" and organize.
Let's say you have objects stored in your closet from the past and in particular these objects, photos, old clothing etc could be from a past love interest.  Even though to the naked eye, its just a closet, Feng Shui … (8 comments)

Keeping Feng Shui Simple-De clutter

Yes, keep is simple and when you are first introducing yourself to the principles of Feng Shui, step one is to "de clutter."
Learning to let go of what ever you do not need, use or love is the references of learning to metaphorically, energetically and literally make room for new beginnings, new energy and more practical items or more space to open up.
No need to over think, just take action when you are ready.

Declutter, Declutter, Declutter a Feng Shui Story
"De clutter" says the Feng Shui environmental healer, for you will feel more at ease and grounded with how you think and move along your path of life.

Yes this is true and is the first step to healing for your home environment and life energy.  This is not a trend that many portray, it's a lifestyle, one that we can all do and many times intuition tells us to do.  I have a client who shares an apartment in Queens New York with 2 other roommates.   She expressed concern during her consult … (9 comments)

de clutter: Dear Intuition......... - 02/04/12 11:06 AM
Dear Intuition

Dear Intuition,
I'm sorry I ever doubted you. You have always steered me correctly.  You always gave me those warning signs, those uneasy feelings in my stomach, yet I still doubted you.  I asked multiple times to please give me direction because of my uncertainty and wanted the truth as Feng Shui always displays. I saw the signs and heard the truth, but yes, I still doubted you.
Finally, you had enough and shouted out to me, WAKE UP!  I could no longer ignore your call, you had my entire body shaking with the sense of being … (6 comments)
