I spent an hour in a conference last week with the Chief Economist at the Mortgage Bankers association and he provided us so much information the call could have actually been Much Longer (and welcomed believe it or not) one of the charts he shared is this one with a bit of a rate history and forecast for the next few years:

As you can see we came into the year 2000 with rates in the 8's for a thirty year mortgage. People forget that 4's were not the norm … (2 comments)

Here's what we have in store for the week. The "Biggie of the week" will be Friday's Employment report, historically it has been one of the bigger market movers. Second will likely be Tomorrow's release of the Beige book, which are the notes from the last Fed Meeting. The Wild Card remains the trade fun with new Tariffs that kicked in on Sunday, we shall see how that plays out. Lastly- the continuing concern is the inverted yield curve which we have had for more than a week now..... never a good sign for the economy.

BUSINESS TIP OF THE WEEK...
Online networking is important, but a recent study reported 95% of professionals believe face-to-face meetings are also essential to long-term relationships. Keep up your in-person networking.
I know I have been guilty of being sucked into social media and Online networking- it has its place, but we need to be out there meeting as many people as possible face to face!
