It takes both sun -and- rain for a flower to grow.

Have you noticed that we now live in a culture where many adults are unable to handle constructive criticism because everything in their lives is based on emotions? They may refuse to accept any advice.

To that segment of people, it may feel more like a provoked attack on a frail sense of self worth, rather than something designed to improve overall work habits, the mindset or to encourage better outcomes.

Critical thinking takes leave, especially when someone's looking to fast-track success. A lot of younger people want all the answers prior to … (15 comments)

Nerdin Gardens: MANtaining, MANaging and MANual Labor

Every new growing season brings a great share of excitement in awe of nature's ways plus challenges to be met in the back yard garden. Warm temperatures, nutrient rich soil, adequate sunshine, weeding by hand and plentiful water creates an optimum growth environment.

My husband Michael has a green thumb. He enjoys MANtaining the plant material and possesses the ability to encourage favorable outcomes while also creating beautiful, relaxing spaces for everyone's enjoyment.

Nerdin Gardens: Thankfully, I’ve Come to My Senses!

While walking the perimeter of Nerdin Gardens:
Every Sound brings attention to a new direction. Chirping birds are nesting, anticipating their eggs hatching, ensuring another generation. Bees are gathering food from the many blossoms dotting the landscapes.

Am excited to Touch green grass again. Bare feet meeting the delicate blades of green grass tickles the toes. Soon, we will hide decorated eggs, awaiting the arrival of the Grandbabies and the Easter Bunny himself!

Waszy buszy?

Consistent hustle and bustle is what successful people do. Are all actions at work intentional and designed to achieve the goals set forth? For most, it may be so but for Bumble Bees, the answer is a resounding YES. It means more honey for the bees and for agents, more money honey!

My advice: Watch the bees and follow suit.

Adequate training vs On-the-Job Training

A question was asked in the ActiveRain Q&A regarding finishing real estate school... Did you feel that you had adequate training?

To which I replied...
The opportunity to sit in real estate classes actually gave me a better education than most new recruits who obtain theirs online, in my opinion. If you feel more training is necessary, take classes, go to seminars, it's up to you. You will be successful if you possess self-motivation and tenacity to go after business!

Most subjects were skimmed over due to the amount of information relayed. After testing out, on the job training became the next step, plus aligning with … (4 comments)
