Simple and sweet and also reminds me of the quote...Time and tide wait for no man. Getting to the work at hand means getting up, dressing up and showing up for the day. Better to meet it than chase it down.

No need to go far when looking for inspiration, whether it be a flower, an animal or a 'feel good' story such as Norma Jean Bauerschmidt's from northern Michigan. This 90 year old woman decided she was going to meet the day rather than wait for it after getting a uterine cancer diagnosis.
 
In 2015, she inspired thousands by forgoing treatment and taking a 13,000 mile, cross country trip instead in a motorhome. Norma Jean Bauerschmidt’s travels are followed by 400,000+ people on the Facebook page "Driving Miss Norma", with photos and an online diary of her journey.

Start from a helpful standpoint and move forward.
 
First, show up. Make an effort to be on time and maintain momentum through the day. Find what drives you to work, to contacting past and present clients on a regular basis. 
 
Second, remain present. It takes more than being in the moment, it takes proper planning. Determining wants and needs, discussing every minute detail, including time-lines, terms and conditions. 
 
Third, be sincere. A genuine smile shows an earnest impression when first meeting. Eye contact, excellent communication with follow through is crucial to setting expectations.
