Lately, I always feel like somebody's watching me!
Call me paranoid but as I work in my home office, a niggling sensation continues over me and then goes away intermittently. It's as if someone or some thing is intently watching my every move...every stroke of the keyboard is measured and each click of the mouse is carefully scrutinized...
Oh! It's just Tuxedo, playing a Cat and Mouse Game.
Haha! It makes perfect sense now!

Eyes WIDE OPEN!
Our new kitten, Tuxedo is adept already at playing hide-n-seek and just when he thinks I am unable to see him, he opens his eyes-wide! He is only 7 weeks old and is very aware of his surroundings and wants to do-it-all and see-it-all.
Perhaps that is why he is unable to be incognito when hiding!

Introducing Tuxedo, our new Assistant in Training to the Assistant, Hiway, who also happens to be the newest member of the home office crew. He is so excited to be an integral part of it all plus he is also learning about a few business procedures such as:

Happy or blissfully content?
How many of you would be happy to be covered head to toe in grainy, mucky mud for even a minute, much less for most of your summer days? Well, Bacon here has mastered the concept of "I've got it covered!" It hard to tell whether he is happy but am assured to know that he is indeed blissfully content!

Please say a prayer for Bronco and Hiway.
Our Bronco has passed today. 14 good years we shared with him as the "Best Dog in the World" and was he ever! He greeted us with a fast and furious wag of the tail every single day of his life followed by wet kisses, no matter the circumstances. Last night Hiway managed to slip outdoors while we weren't looking and she is nowhere to be found.

My Real Estate Assistant has a PHD!
How lucky can I be to have such a distinguished helper in my home office? She graduated at the top of her class with a PHD (phenomenal disposition) at the Real Estate Acatemy!
She is a people pleaser and:
Maintains a great attitude of gratitude Will fetch items efficiently, no questions asked Never complains about her work load, no matter the task She would assist for free but I feel justified in paying her in snacks, plush toys and catnip. Wordless Wednesday (almost!): Paint horse.
My son Spensyr and I were on the way home when we both spotted a beautiful creature behind the fence alongside Hiway 18. I was armed with the phone camera and he had the Kodak in hand and between us we were able to get a great shot while stepping over dried desert plants and sinking into the fine dirt just off the road.
He was not concerned with us in the least and kept to the task of eating while we ooohed and ahhhed over him.

You ever wonder where the saying comes from. Well, look no further as this is true proof of its origin! Miss Prissy and Bacon demonstrate this technique quite naturally, don’t you think?
Piggy-back riding comes from the human practice known as 'piggybacking' where a person rides around on another's back, the rider’s arms clasped around the carrier’s neck.

We'll be having beef for our Holiday dinner in honor of the pig...Merry Christmas everyone!
As we all sit down for a special meal today, let us give thanks to those in our presence that add meaning to our lives. From our parents and spouses to our children to brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, our pets and yes, even pigs, each play a role in the decisions we make everyday.

Christmas Photo Contest ~ "When Pigs Fly!"
After taking this picture of one of our little pot-bellied pigs, it spoke to me of something special. He almost looks like he posed for the camera and is just 'hanging out' at the little red house where they lived. I put a red nose on him, created a set of antlers complete with headband, giving him that reindeer look.
This is the front of the Christmas card I will be sending out to all my clients, friends and family over the weekend.

Coming up the road leading home, I couldn’t believe my eyes. A neighbor’s child teaching her dog how to ride a bicycle! He was not held captive by ropes or a leash to hold him on, HE WAS A WILLING PARTICIPANT as you can see in the photo! And look, he is S-M-I-L-I-N-G!
I just couldn’t resist taking a photo…with her permission of course! So the next time you're thinking of trying something new, DO IT! You may be surprised and have A LOT of FUN!

As we head outside to barbecue and catch some rays after a few days of cloudbursts and seasonal rains, one thing is for sure...Bronco has it made in the shade! If there is a place close to the crowd, he will find it as he makes the rounds to get petted and perhaps catch a morsel or two from a kind guest.

It's a game we play, Ashley and I!
I've looked into those vivid green eyes several thousand times, each time astonished with their beauty. Does she know that? Most likely not. Her needs and demands are simple:
Be our #1 outdoor kitty Full body rub including tummy Catnip when she's feeling frisky Fresh food & water daily in dish Tasty treats / tuna on special occasions All she has to do is give me that look and eye give in to her special demands! Did you blink? Eye bet you did!

As Diana runs and runs around the dog park, she makes good use of her dog senses, every one of them on high alert.
Every Sound brings her to a new direction. She is excited to Touch green grass again. The Sight of the birds and flowers ignite her. Smell here, there and everywhere. And her Taste buds are alive!

Baby blue eyes is a spring-blooming flower, also known as an herb that gets its name from the bright blue flowers that flourish in the wild. This kitten's vibrant eyes evoke a transparent clearness similar to the Baby blue eyes flowers. Her True blue eyes were so unusual and unexpected, I was mesmerized by her gaze and then my son informed me it was time to go. What? I was so enjoying the view! Happy Sunday to you all!
