Waking up on the sunny side of the road. Better than in the middle of it or worse, lying in a ditch! Though some days are better navigated than others, we still have the choice of making the most of them or become heavily entrenched on the down side. Time will still go on without me but I still want to happily take part every day, in every way. Besides, there's much work to do in Nerdin Gardens on this side of the road! Avoid Becoming A Cynic to Still BELIEVE...
There are so many adverse situations that present at any time, anywhere, every day. We must own the ability to adapt in order to move forward in every aspect of life, whether personally or professionally.
Pushing the cynical button:
The promise of, "I'll take care of you, don't you worry!" is a lesson earned early on, when the referral I was supposed to get, didn't happen. This was a sister who emphatically told me that the listing was mine!

Today is a gift that can be spent any way, any how, as desired, regardless of where you are in life. Choosing to lead with a sunny disposition, suits my heartful intentions of love, peace and harmony.
This afternoon, previewing a property, while Face-timing with a wonderful couple who plan to make southern Utah their final destination is planned. If all looks acceptable, an offer will be written.
Everything is looking promising here as we begin the new year.

Pure instinct becomes the driving force, sending a seedling upright toward the skies, ever reaching to achieve the intended goal. Though high winds, pests and inclemement weather may threaten to impede the straight-right approach, standing tall becomes the end result, inspiring all present.
This plays right into the real estate industry and how important maintaining a positive mindset while seeking solutions for client's sake rather than allowing impediments to get in the way of achieving success.

Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.
Every day brings opportunities to learn while enjoying life. Negative thoughts can stunt experiencing anything new, therefore impeding growth.
Gaining information to use applies to every day. Just as our bodies need stimulation and exercise so does the brain. After all, it is one of the most important organs in the body and needs nourishment to stay healthy.
Learn to weed out negative feelings when they come creeping in, crowding out the positive thoughts in the mind. Instead, look for something new or challenging to reignite or create a sense of adventure.
No weeds here! I'm growing flowers. Are you?

Dogged determination. Got it?
One word that describes the personality trait that stays with me day in - day out is tenacity. The definition for tenacity is: The quality displayed by someone who just won't quit — who keeps trying until they reach their goal.
Happy to be blessed with tenacity, to continue the fight to the end for something I believe. It has served me well in my personal life as well as professionally. I have learned however, that not all battles are mine.

Hey varmints, the year ain't over yet!
Are you in line with 4th quarter projected goals? If not, get out there and sell something! As we head into mid October, it is time to reflect back and look forward to strong finishes for 2016. Before you know it, the New Year will be making an appearance.
Keep the momentum by:
Maintaining positivity Keeping a sense of humor Handling problems as they arise
Follow up and follow through, make yourself available and contact past clients to remind them why they chose you as their agent. And remember, there are only 11 Fridays left to accomplish this year's goals!
