Boy, is he Lucky! For those who attended the zoom meeting on Nerdin Gardens that included trivia questions about all creatures that inhabit the perimeter and surrounding area, you'll know what I'm talking about, when I say... Just when I was getting ready to take a pea in the back yard garden, I was suddenly interrupted by an unexpected but welcome visitor!
Satisfaction comes from being able to pick fresh fruits and vegetables early mornings or later in the day when the temperatures start cooling, knowing they are organic as nature intended.

Going Banana's Flambé!
As a tribute to one of my all-time favorites chef's, I decided to prepare a classic French dessert with one of her most memorable dishes for this month's ActiveRain cooking challenge.
After getting the ingredients from the pantry, the back of my neck prickled. I continued on, peeling the banana's, softening the butter, measuring out the honey, cinnamon and lemon juice.
Following the recipe, the smells wafting from the cast iron pan as the sweet sauce thickened, had me reminiscing of days long ago when I watched this famous, culinary genius on tv.

When clowns come calling, do you open the door or keep them at bay? Recently, I received an email from AT&T, claiming the phone bill was now due and payment expected. I do not have an account with them!
Apparently, there have been a number of spammers here in the Rain who continue to bombard the Q & A section of this forum again and again. Bob Stewart is a busy man trying to keep up with it all. I report them.
But seriously, are these scammers and spammers getting daft?!

Maintaining a sense of humor in the real estate industry is a must. When things go sideways, rather than allowing the attitude to take a southern turn too, think of ways to continue moving forward.
While we all experience disappointment, we can choose to find a positive means to rev up and gain momentum. I seek out healthy ways to deal with the down side of life with a laugh or two...or three.
Besides, I can always eat my way through it too. Larry, Moe and Curly just may be dinner tonight. Happy day all, whoop, whoop!

BE ON THE LOOKOUT!
There were several reports of residential break-ins that occurred throughout the St. George area last night. Officer's are responding as quickly and efficiently as possible so, if you have been a victim, please be patient.
Suspect information is long whiskers, covered in hair and moves with a limp or "hop." The suspect does not actually take items but illegally gains entry to homes and leaves baskets and egg shaped droppings...

At times, the imagination takes over and it wanders to places that are surprising and comical, even to me! Imagine my delight when I found this yard art pattern at the store. Of course it was purchased, traced, cut out, painted and placed in the yard immediately. This is an oldy but goody and often brings a smile about the face when people read the message, enjoy!

An experienced stager knows how to beautify a space, just as an electrician knows the number outlets to adequately illuminate a home. Far be it for me to overstep boundaries when it comes to other professions.

A REAL SCREAMING DEAL!
Tammy and I arrived at the home to take photos in preparation of listing it on the MLS. Little did we know, every move made was being closely mointored, room to room, while clicking away.
Micsellaneous clutter was scattered everywhere, so getting good, photos was extremely challenging. Just as I moved some baby bedding in the corner, Tammy started running, screaming!
I closed my eyes, imagining a huge snake or skunk or racoon jumping out, foaming at the mouth and let out a blood curdling scream that went beyond just a squeal. The woman in the yard next door almost dropped her garden hose!

Naturally curly!
This skinless, burp-less cucumber twisted itself around the stalk of a sunflower in the garden. Unknown to us, until we started clearing away some dead plant material. We think the wind caused it to turn bit by bit until it created this outcome.
It almost looks like it was hanging on for dear life as it was clearly off the ground by more than a foot. Who knows? Maybe it adapted and adjusted in order to continue thriving. Nature constantly amazes me with her sense of humor and survival skills!
We can definitely take notes from this example to enhance our own business models. Happy Saturday all!

Oh to be normal.
What is your definition of NORMAL? Some say normal is a setting on the dryer or a cycle on the washing machine. That normal is an illusion, what is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly. ~ Charles Addams.
Normal may only be relative, so I guess my husband and I would be a paranormals? Uh....hmmmm.

How to get the attention of 250 people immediately.
It's simple! Join a social media group and inject some humor. I recently posted a photo I took of some cucumbers we pulled from our home garden and added a funny caption. Before I knew it, I had the attention of almost 250 people who, not only liked it but LOL!

Suddenly, she asked me to pronounce my name for her. To which I did. She tried to say it.

Twice.
Again.
I finally replied, just call me Wanda K!
And that is what she did!

Laughter really is contagious! Have you noticed when hearing a good belly laugh that you can't help but to chuckle yourself?
Laughter reduces stress levels. Having a stressful day? Stop and think of something funny that happened to you and let yourself go!
Laughter is good for the heart. Laughter lightens your mood by releasing endorphins into your body and elevating thought processes.
Laughter gives the abdomen a good workout. The more you laugh the more stomach muscles react, much like doing crunches.

See a comedy show, think of a funny joke that you found hilarious, and remember past events that make you laugh. Surround yourself with positive, upbeat people who see the upside of living.

Not a personal attack but a lessen lurned!
A recent blog noted misspellings and poor grammar on the MLS and made humorous anecdotes to each mistake.
Did I think it was entertaining? Yes.
Was it funny? Yes!
The poster did not cause the subjects of the blog any money loss, health problems or personal distress, so why the animosity and ill will?
As real estate professionals, it is up to each one of us to represent our clients to the highest standard. Part of the service we provide is accurate, detailed information. Proper spelling and grammar is part of the promise … (41 comments)

Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?
Coming up the road leading home, I couldn’t believe my eyes. A neighbor’s child teaching her dog how to ride a bicycle! He was not held captive by ropes or a leash to hold him on, HE WAS A WILLING PARTICIPANT as you can see in the photo! And look, he is S-M-I-L-I-N-G!
I just couldn’t resist taking a photo…with her permission of course! So the next time you're thinking of trying something new, DO IT! You may be surprised and have A LOT of FUN!
