Todd Clark's visit to St. George, Utah was much anticipated and most appreciated! We met at Marv's Drive-in, a local 50's type restaurant. His family and mine go back about a year or so when he arranged to come to pick up Athena, a pot-bellied piglet to take back home to Oregon as a pet.

While driving to Mesquite, Nevada to check out the motorcycle track for our oldest son, we came around a bend in the road that leads to The Palms Golf Club and I said Whoa! Stopped the car and took this shot. Similar desert scenes like this one are often seen in movies but this is a golf green and a gorgeous sight among the natural brush softscape of the desert.
It is indeed the center of attention and a WHOA-asis for sure!
Mesquite, Nevada is a 45 minute drive from St. George, Utah.

I've lost "My Mouse!"
During the 15 minute intermission for the Broadway Musical Crazy for You at Tuacahn Ampitheatre, we noticed the people behind us scurrying to find something lost. I asked if I could help, curious of what to look for.
The lady said her 2 year old lost his little mouse. Okay, armed with that knowledge, I began earnestly looking around and under the seats for a cute, cuddly child's toy, hoping to find it for the little boy.
"I found it", said the dad, and sure enough, it was - a mouse!

Hand Crank chairs were introduced to this year's St. George Marathon as you can see here; the athletes predicted it would take approximately 1 1/2 hours to get to the finish line. This guy just flew by this morning on his way to St. George, only about 20 more miles to go! If this is any indication to his average speed, he just may beat the calculated time!

Fall has come to southern Utah but that only means cooler nights with more sun-filled days! Even as the color of the leaves begin to turn, one thing is still sure, the temperatures are perfect for swimming! Many communities have pools and residents may swim year 'round in some that are indoor / heated. Pools in neighborhoods increase desirability, especially here in sunny southern Utah!

Another great reason to get-a-way to southern Utah! Amazing weather, clean air and lots of room to move...even if it is hundreds of feet above the ground! While on route to the Prado & Kramer Real Estate office Monday morning, I noticed two huge trees on Tabernacle Street had several branches split, almost laying to the ground. Strong winds had come through the night before and I thought, what a shame! As I drove back by a few hours later, one of the trees was completely GONE! I was curious...So I stopped and spoke with the people in charge.

When it comes to flowers, yellow is universal for friendship and red for love. Personally, I think there are no boundaries when it comes to color and friendship.
If you have a friend that likes purple, then give a gift of purple clematis, one of my favorites. Clematis is a climbing variety of flower that comes back every year and what better way to be remembered than when it's in full bloom?!
