Alert OC ~ Alert Orange County has been rolled out to a wide range of cities in the County of Orange and Brea is one 
of them. The first test of the REVERSE 911 system takes place in the City of Brea on May 13!
The notification system is will alert OC residents in the event of an emergency or local concerns. It's FREE and can be activated on a city-wide regional basis or targeted for specific locations.
It's important to note that according to city representatives available "land-line" phone numbers have been automatically pre-loaded into the system. Yet how many of us now use our cell phones more often than a home number? I'm one of many that does just that. Therefore it's important to know multiple contact points are available.
- You can edit your own info to add your cell number and or your business/work number into the system.
Most of us can remember it wasn't all that long ago that friends and neighbors were evacuated as a result of the local fires. This photo was taken in the front yard of my Brea home.
