Yeah for the old FARTS.....

Tom Watson is atop the leader board at the British open and I for one, love it. Now, don't miss understand, I don't think he will win it, but I can dream. If any of the old fellows has a chance, it would have to be Tom. He plays well at the Open and is loved by the locals.

So, here's to Tom Watson, may your old legs carry you to victory and history.

Thanks for the memories, Tom.

How "old" do you have to be to be "old"?

Tom Watson is still a young professional by my age standards. He is setting a good example for golfers that complain that they are too old to maintain low scores.

Old farts and old fartettes RULE.  :)   Oh, I think anyway.  But I have met a few cool whippersnappers in my day too.  Have a great weekend Terry!

Tom is playing very well.  I had high hopes for Greg Norman too, but  . . .

At least we won't be bombarded with 'tiger trivia' now that he's on his way home.  Maybe we'll get a chance to see coverage of other players for a change!  Gotta love the Open and what it does to world class players!!

Terry,

I have only watched a very few minutes of the British Open.  I need to sit down and watch a couple of hours of it.  It is good to hear that Tom Watson is on top of the leader board.

This is a great story.  What I like the most about it is that everything seems impossible until it isn't.

I would love to see Watson win the open championship, it would be the top story of the PGA tour this year.
