You've seen blog posts where it's like a machine gun salt and peppered them.

The right buzz maine welcome signwords. Their intent not so much for local real estate buyers to glean and graze on for information. The goal for search engine robots to pick them up on real estate radar because your hometown was used 346 times in a myriad of ways in that blog post.

Your posts, website may have SEO value but the real estate buyer or someone interested in your area looking for actual detailed information is going to go away hungry. Your site, blog was found and then quickly backed out of as the surfer continues to look for information he can use. You have wasted his or her time.

His first glance at the copy makes him rub his eyes and think is this English or Klingon or why am I have trouble focusing on this?

Getting something useful out of it. Just read one of those that will remain nameless but have you noticed many?

Morse code looking blog posts...they serve a search engine purpose but don't you want them to have information value to the customer that they score well to find? Providing images, video links, sharp original copy you wrote about in your local community describing what it is like living there. Becoming the local voice for anything they need before, during, after the sale. And they spread the word. You can craft a post that does both and without the buyer scratching his head to wonder, what is this all about?  If your blog posts have the same six key words woven in and out and all about like the hokey pokey where you throw your whole self in, and stay there. What good is that overall and why not have them made more useful? Think real buyer, seller, customer, surfer and what they want and give them information, provide that service as a real estate broker. If you don't someone else that is also found in searches but that truly delivers will. There is a balance in the presentation of the topic and moderation in the salt and peppering of the search engine optimization efforts. Like over powering garlic, a perfume that makes your eyes water and pushes you to run away, go easy on the seasoning.

I have read several blogs like that here recently, but didn't realize that certain words repeatd so much for the benefit of the search engines.  I just thought they were annoying.

Like SEO black flies, gnats. And we all know you don't need a hammer to kill a mosquito. Lighten up and bring up the volume on the information...what used to be the primary purpose of the blog post article.

I agree, very annoying! I've heard about repeating words for SE, the trick is to try not to be obnoxious, which I'm still working on! I try to keep my SE blogs separated from my readable posts
