I just received a disturbing and very sad e-mail that I wanted to share with Active Rain.
Friends of Allen Codd Fund
Allen Codd, previous sales manager with Grempler and current agent at the L&F Eldersburg Office, has been recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. The sad part of the story is that he has no health insurance. To help compensate his expenses, we are holding a raffle as described below:

I can not even imagine being in the same situation and I hug my family a little tighter as I count my blessings. Not only having to worry about such a serious condition, but having no health insurance too.
Most of my peers spend at least $5 per day on a coffee at Starbucks: Going without for a day would not be too much of a hardship.
A mere $5 could be a prize of $1000 or a vacation. What is there to lose?
Any help in getting out this terribly sad message would be appreciated too.
If we all help each other there may come a day when we need help too- PAY IT FORWARD.
