Special offer

Lacey's Annual Kids Klassic Family Fish-in

By
Industry Observer

If you have kids in the family who love to fish (or if YOU love to fish and want to share that with your kids), then this coming Saturday, April 17th will be right up your alley (or up the creek might be more accurate!).

Lacey Parks Department will preregister kids between the ages of 5 and 14 for this event - and it is free if you already have a fishing rod to bring, or $5.00 if you want to get a rod and reel to use when you get there.

The Fish-in will be at the Woodland Creek Community Park on Pacific Ave in Lacey and kids can fish from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.  You can call the Lacey Parks Department at 360-491-0857 to pre-register.

Your kids will have some great fish stories to tell!  And you just might get some great photos, too!

Nancy, it sounds like such a fun event. I used to go to these things with my grandfather when I was a kid.

Fun for the family, and FREE! Yay! In my teen years, our family lived on the corner of a canal and the St. John's River. My brothers and I would grab a boat and go water skiing whenever we wanted to, or just wake up and jump in the river. And our cats loved to "help" with the fishing too =^.^=
