#10: Ghost Tour in Strathern Park

Interested in some ghoulish fun, and learn the history of Simi Valley, California in one shot? Then..The Ghost Tour in Strathearn Park is perfect for you. Now in it's 12th spooky year, The Ghost Tour is a family friendly event that is appropriate for all ages. It is not a haunted house, but rather a walking tour that explains the history of Simi Valley in an entertaining way by those who created it. Strathearn Historical Park and Museum is owned and maintained by Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.

The tour lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and is limited to 20-25 people. The tour is filled on a first come first serve basis, and a new tour starts every 15 minutes. Reservations can be made for parties of 10 or more people.

Saturday, October 30th 6:00-10:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 31st Dark for Halloween

 

Tickets are $8.00, children under the age of 5 are no charge.

Free parking along Strathearn Place.

Kathy - As a resident of Simi Valley, I can attest that Strathern Park is a great place for a family outing.  It is so incredibly rich in Simi Valley history.  I love the place.  Going to reblog.  :)
