Tate & Diane

One of the loves of my life is animals, specifically, dogs. One of my dreams in life, I had long since given up on was training dogs for search, rescue and recovery work.

A year and a half ago I met a gal who trains & handles search and rescue dogs. My children and I have been assisting with the training process ever since.

This is my friend Tate, I am proud to share, this past Friday she was tested and received certified for search and rescue work. It’s been a blessing and an education and a pleasure to help train her and her sisters.

Tate looks like a lab cross which I think makes for the best dogs. Our Jack is yellow lab and some kind of terrier. Not sure how his little dad pulled that off but Jack has been a great companion for 11 years and we hope many more.
