COME ON OUT OF THAT CLOSET!

Yes, buyers DO look in pantries, closets, even drawers!  I always encourage Sellers to tackle one closet or room at a time and clear out the clutter!  Not only will it make a different when those buyers are sniffing around, it will make getting ready to move so much easier!

I have to admit this is my pantry and it took me all of about 30 minutes to clean this bad boy out!  It made a world of difference and I was able to get rid of things that had expired and organize!  In just a short amount of time, the pantry looks 100% better.

You don't have to tackle everything at once.  Choose an area per day and dedicated 10 - 30 minutes on it.  You will be amazed at how quickly your home can become much better organized.  And, it WILL make a world of difference.

Here are my before and after pics!

Hi there, Paula. Your "after" pantry is lovely, but I'd be satisfied if mine looked like your "before" pic. I'd rather go out for a run than clean out closets, but here you are, doing both, and making it sound easy! I'll turn over a new leaf, I promise. Thanks for helping me face facts~

Holy Cow!  Both photos capture the essence of someone well-organized.  I don't see any mouse traps...LOL...g

LOL I agree with Lottie and Cherise!  I'd be happy to have the before pic as my pantry.  I'm not organized at all and finding those 30 minutes is near impossible these days it seems.  Great job and advice!

Paula, okay you've the pantry stocked and organized, but can you cook? That is the real question here....

I can't say as our pantry is in such great shape, I need to get to work on it...

Paula, Great subject, simple but important. Over stuffed closets and clutter leave the impression that there is not enough storage while organization says there is plenty of storage.
