I have to admit I will miss 2010. It was one of my best years in real estate. Active Rain was a huge part in that as I am here reading posts every day at 4am, drawing from the positive energies I find. I know some had a pretty rough year and I love the way the thought of a "New" year spurs them but in reality true change comes from within. Lets all focus on not just saying Happy New Year, but living it. When you catch yourself speaking negative, ask "is this going to get me where I need to be?" and then put a positive spin on it. My New Years celebrations were not as elaborate as some. I spent the evening with my family playing Tiger Woods Golf on the PS3. If you haven't tried it with the "Move", you should. As much as I will miss 2010, I am really looking forward to making 2011 the best year yet. I wish you all the best of New Years and thanks for reading.
My 2010 was so-so at best. Short sales killed me. I had too many things fall apart because of them. All in all, I can't complain. Hopefully those short sale will close THIS year, making it heaven in twenty eleven.

I like that. It's nice to hear that someone had a great year. Sometimes we tend to focus on the negative. there are some who are doing extremely will in this market!

Hi Randy -- I like your attitude. 2010 was an acceptable year for me; the 4th quarter was fantastic; I see that excitement continuing into 2011. I have one closing set for the end of January; I'm writing up on offer tomorrow for an all-cash buyer--we'l see how that plays out; I showed property yesterday; I'm showing another client a house tomorrow -- people are feeling confident here on the San Francisco Peninsula!

Randy-I was fortunate to have one of my best years also in 2010. I am so happy you did too. I am looking forward to 2011 and it has to offer. I love your thought about changing your thinking when you catch yourself thinking negative. This is something that I also worked on last year and I believe that is what helped me with my success.
