Hmm… I wrote a bunch of blog posts about Marina Grande on the Halifax, a massive condo development in Daytona Beach Area. What was I doing if not trying to create and maintain the buzz? Was I writing about walls, floors and roofs? No, I was writing about the future chance to own, to enjoy, to entertain, to appreciate…
What I was doing was creating and maintaining the buzz. Our success as real estate agents is our ability to turn dull matter into buzz… and I do not mean 
lying about anything. That’s why when I take people on showings, I will tell them that this is John Rockefeller’s winter home for the last 24 years of his life and why he has chosen Ormond Beach to be his winter home, when being the richest man in the world, he could have picked any pace he wanted.
And he died here 2 months short of his 98th birthday. Would you like to live in a place chosen by the richest man in the world? Would you want to live 98 years and be active till the last day? I sure would.
And that this restaurant belonged to Al Capone, and there is still a house, where his mom lived. And that… (it’s endless, so I will stop here)
What am I doing? All I need is to sell 4 walls and a roof… What about the feel of the area, a bit of history, a faded piece of glory… People do not live in houses, they live in homes. Houses are pretty much the same. Foundation, walls, roof… Homes - is what we make with houses, and they are part of the bigger picture. They are part of the Nation.

And if the only love you find is to the commission check, maybe you are selling houses only...
