Searcy Arkansas is on the grow again! New subdivision on Country Club Road.

The land is being cleared on Country Club Road for a big new subdivision.  I admit that I don't have all the particulars yet but you can sure tell something is going on when you drive from West Beebe Capps up Country Club Road.  It has always been a pretty narrow and tight road with hills and now it is worse!

Big equipment and trucks and people are turning in and out to clear the land for Searcy's very newest subdivision.  It is right across the street from the property that still has horses in town and is blessed by rainbows.  The family moved there when it was country and now it is "town."  You can see their flower bed in the picture below.

We'll be watching to see how it all turns out.

Subdivision on Country Club Rd

P. S.   The proposed name of this subdivision will be Ridgewood and is developed by Craig Lackie and engineered by Adam Whitlow.  It proposes 82 lots on 21 acres in Phase I and 64 lots on 15 acres in Phase II.

I wonder...do horses think like Indians?

We just read the "log" story today.  An Indian Chief and a General sat on a log to talk about the Indians moving farther west.  After a while the Chief asked the General to move down, so he did.  They talked some more and the Indian Chief asked the General to move down he needed more room, so he did.  This continued a few more times until the General said, NO!  The Chief asked why not and the General replied that he had run out of log.  The Indian explained, Exactly!

As you said...we will see how it all turns out...time is a revealer.  In the meantime...becareful out there!
