For the first time in 10 years I put out a sign "COMING SOON" on
a $1.1 million dollar listing and had a contract that night.
I don't know if this is a strong sign that the market in
Austin is in high gear, but it sure makes up for those listing that
took months and months and months and months to sell. This is
our best quarter in 3 years and the last quarter of last year was also
the best quarter in three years, and vaulted into the #3 position of
large groups in Austin by the Austin Business Journal for the second
year. Our worst, was 7th place in 2004, our first year in
business.
There is a buzz in the market that we have not seen or felt in a very long time. Though people have been "looking" for well over a year, now they are "hunting". I have always told people that the market will turn in either direction when no one expects it to. The whole world is in turmoil, yet the market takes off. I won't even try to explain it as I really don't care. Just keep rolling market. Been tired of eating beans..........

Even if it's a fluke, it sure feels good. Totally forgot what it was like to eat a steak. We are probably a year ahead of the pack, so plan ahead for a bang up 2012.
