Finally, we have sunshine in the West Kootenay's! We've had a a very long, not necessarily harsh, but definately long winter. The kind where you get teased with a day or two of gorgeous, get out there and do something outside sunshine, then wake up to 4 inches of fresh fallen snow. It's been tough, but we have persevered and even in Fruitvale, where I live on the mountainside, we can see grass and the crocuses and daffodils are poking their heads through!
