Curse You, er, I Mean Kudos to You Tammy Lankford! You Knocked Me Out of #5.

For quite some time, over a year now, I have been the #5 ranked Tammy Lankford Georgia Active Rain member. There I was, fat, dumb and happy, feeling secure in my position, but not anymore. That darn persistant Tammy Lanford has quietly and surely bumped me from my seat.

Actually, Tammy has been posting a lot of quality information, across a wide range of topics and certainly deserves to be climbing the "Active Rain" ladder. She is interesting and witty and has garnered a lot of followers, and, has passed me although she has a couple hundred fewer posts than I do, but twice the amount of feature posts.

So if you aren't familiar with her, go ahead and check out what she has to say. You may find it interesting. And of course, don't forget to check out what I have to say. Oh, but you already are.

So Tammy! Congratulations on leaping past me. You deserve it. I expect that for a short time we might play leap frog for awhile, but, with the quality and quantity of your posts, you will soon leave me in the dust. Keep it up, and give those "millionaires" at the top a run for their positions.

For you it was Tammy. For me it's the powerhouse Cynthia Larson who never looked in her rear view mirror as she zoomed by me and continues to climb the ranks. Now I'm looking back and there's Kirsten Lindquist moving up fast with great writing and content. The moral of the story for both of us. The women of ActiveRain are amazing.

Oh Mike, this made me giggle.  And yes, I suspect we will play leap frog for a while.  In fact, you're back ahead at the moment.  And I'm about to walk the dogs and then go write an offer... so will be dark thirty before I'm back on AR.    But thanks for the very kind words.  As you know we are a lot a like in our thinking and mind set and most of the time I agree with you.  And I've gotten some great tid bits from your posts.  Most recently I was thrilled to be able to call up my daughter and tell her she could download weather alert to her iphone for free.  I feel better knowing she's a bit safer with a weather warning system.  Thanks to you.  Of course you are making me really want an iphone with that last safety thing you posted.  Alas... I have no idea when my next "upgrade" is.

Laura - there are some really prolific and well followed bloggers ahead of us, but, it is a good challenge.
