(not so) Wordless Wednesday...
Have you ever had one of those days were everything is a blur? These past few days have been for me. But then, it seems that when one has a week to do nothing but goof off; time seems to move in an accelerated pace. Who knows. Could be that one is hell bent on packing 30 hours of activities in a 24 hour day. Then too, maybe the time gods trick us. You know, they speed time up; giving us 20 hours and saying, "Dude, I just gave you 24." What ever the case, time moves way to quickly when you are having fun.
As promised, I did pack my camera. This shot was planned. Kinda goes to show you what one can do when you know what you want to do, and shoot in the dark (of a fast moving amusement park ride). I'm into weird effects and this was certainly one...
This was shot at a camera setting ISO 3200/f3.5 - 1/8 sec. The room was totally dark except for the black lights and the reflective paint...
Hi Michael,
I though you were supposed to be on vacation. LOL. You are "addicted" to the Rain. And I just love it.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing an outstanding photo.
Good luck and success.

Michael, I can honestly say that I've never taken a picture of that quality in the dark.
That one is something that should be on my wall and signed by you....Nice make it a 8x10 please
Michael: Just couldn't get away on vacation and forget about your friends at Active Rain. Another one of your amazing photos.
Howdy and evening to you Michael
Michael, that there sure is a mighty job you did with the effect with your photo. You sure are right about, that time sure does move a lot faster when one is having fun.
Have a good one

I do not have a high end Digital Camera yet. I have a lot of old High End Film cameras and I used to use all the tricks. I imagine some of them are now obsolete.
Awe, that is just way too cool Michael! My camera doesn't even have a ISO of 3,200! I used the 1,600 to capture those fun fire photo's I did. I can't believe you took that camera on an amusement ride! Cool points 10!
Looks like a sound wave...I always liked the ink blot game...lol
Busy just touches the tip of the iceberg for me...I am running almost on empty....
Michael..Looks like me lfe today ..and I am not in a amusement park..just very confused

Good evening Micahel,
Yikes that looks like a total blurr to me..can't believe you took your camera on one of those rides..you are crazy!! Very cool photo but lean back and enjoy the ride!!
Last time I saw something that looked like that was in the 60's! What a long strange trip it's been!
You're never too old for a joy ride! Thanks for taking us on the trip, MAN....like WOW...so many colors and waves and and...what was I saying???
Actually, this is the ONLY way to fly and you remember everything afterwards....very VERY cool, Michael.
Michael - really cool picture. Now this is one place (a ride) that I never even thought to bring my camera - I'll have to rething that - lol.
... so this is what you can see, without the aid of drugs (legal or not), if you know how to use a camera, eh!
Great effect Michael, hope you are enjoying your "downtime" ;-)
Hi Michael, This is just wonderful. I love the colors and would love to try and capture something like this effect. Our county fair is going on, maybe there, :-)
