SMOKE WARNING FOR THE WOODLANDS!

SMOKE WARNING FOR THE WOODLANDS!

There is a smoke warning for The Woodlands, TX due to the area wildfires in and around our area.  Be extra careful about the time that you are spending outside.  Even for people who do not have lung issues, this smoke can cause a lot of problems.

Don't exercise right now outside, keep young children indoors and try and limit your time outside as much as possible.  This is a really frightening situation out there right now.

There are still flare ups happening in Montgomery County.  The area firefighters are doing their best to contain these fires and we need all the help we can.

If you are a volunteer firefighter, please consider lending us a hand.  We appreciate what you guys do for us and know that you put your lives at risk each and every day.

Let's all continue to pray for rain.  Be safe.

Hi Paula, we sure could use some rain.  Most neighborhoods are requesting voluntary water conservation.

Paula,

Sounds like this is a great opportunity to work out indoors on the treadmills.  Certainly hope your lungs are exempt from any of the harmful effects of this... g

Dallas has a chance of rain ib its forecast over the weekend; I will certainly pray that rain finds it way to the rest of Texas. It has been a really hard summer on Texas and we haven't even begun to see the after effects.

Thanks everyone.  We are truly concerned as the drought continues and the heat is unbearable.  We have never needed rain as badly as we need it now.  We are hoping for a very wet Fall and Winter so that all of our beautiful trees will survive.  There are so many Oaks dying that it is very sad to see them all turning brown.  Send the rain - send the rain.

Keep safe out there Paula. We don't want the folks in the Woodlands to suffer the same fate as too many in  central Texas

Paula this has been going on for such a long time.  I will really be glad when Texas gets some relief.
