Between Yesterday 9-20-2011 and Today 9-21-2011 Raleigh, NC has received tons of great news for the area. This truly is a Good Sign for Everyone! Raleigh North Carolina was one of the last areas to get hit by the recession and had been predicted as the first to come out of the recession.
Is Raleigh clear of the housing crisis? I'd say No, but, follow yellow brick road (the Good News) and you'll see we're headed in the right direction!
Raleigh never saw the bubble many states did and therefore didn't experience the same losses. However, home sellers in Raleigh and surrounding areas did feel their own loss. While few homes did see appreciation, most homes purchased in the 2006 -2008 time range experienced a loss when sold.
The Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill areas are some of the best places to invest in Real Estate. So, if there's ever a good time to buy in these areas - It Is NOW!
