Cook'n 4 College
Amy Hahn is spreading the word about a great fund-raiser for our local youth. If you are anywhere in the area, please come out and have lunch and contribute to a wonderful cause.
The Carteret County Association of REALTORS is Cook'n 4 College. The Scholarship committee is raising money for the $2500 Debbie Coleman Memorial Scholarship, and they need your help.
The event takes place on Friday, November 4th, 2011 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Tickets are only $6 per person and include Pork Barbecue, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad and Dinner Rolls. Assorted sodas and water will be available for $1 each. The PR Committee has volunteered to host a Bake Sale to also help raise money for the Scholarship program. During the Barbecue, Homemade desserts can be purchased in single servings, but you can also stock up on cakes and pies while there (Perfect for freezing until Thanksgiving).
This will not only be a fun event, but what a wonderful cause... Helping young people of Carteret County attend college.
Give me a call if you'd like to buy tickets or fill out an Advance Order Form. Tickets will also be available at the CCAR Board Office on the day of the event, but on a first come, first serve basis. It's going to be Lots of FUN, I hope to see you there!
