The outdoor temperature in Balsam, NC this morning was a brisk 25 degrees and a clear indicator that it’s time to lay in a good supply of winter essentials.
Plan ahead, it’s always a good idea to have body warmers not requiring an electrical outlet, batteries or any fuel other than kibble!
If your body warmers happen to double as muscle relaxants…that’s even better planning.
Our black cat named Magic cuz he disappears....seems to have found a new home in North Carolina...sleek, sneaky and black....Hi Magic....you will find the winters not as cold there...come home when you are finished with your winter vacation.

Hi Sheila, we do have a special crew. Those lab brothers are out on the deck hanging in the sunshine and enjoying the visitors. No serious bites yet, we've decided to officially foster them until the right home opens up. Thanks for what you do also. I can tell we are all veterans of the homeless animal war.
