One of our favorite places to have breakfast 3 blocks from Carpinteria's Beach is Esau's. The restaurant is an old style surfer's cafe. A hanging surfboard greets you as you enter a sea of bright orange booths. Our favorite omelette on the menu is the pasilla pepper omelette. The pasilla pepper is stuffed with cheese akin to a chile relleno, It is served with a side of their homemade spicy salso, and crispy hashbrown. During the summer there are long lines waiting for breakfast, brunch and lunch. We can assure you, it is worth the wait.
Happy Saturday from rainy Santa Barbara County, we appreciate the rain. Cheers, Ron & Alexandra
