While I'm killing time waiting for May so I can start the next round of market reports, I found this little gem while I was browsing around on BoingBoing.
Maryhill, in Goldendale, Washington, has become the site for a variety of gravity driven sports like downhill skateboarding and street luge. This footage is from the Maryhill Freeride event, which apparently doesn't have a lot of rules and allows multiple riders. This is an impressive ride by a couple of very gutsy women - the only thing that gives me pause is the lack of protective covering - I've had my share of road rash from cycling, and it ain't any fun.
If I had any sense of balance left, I'd want to try this. Enjoy!
