Kentlands Flowers - Roy and Dolores Kelley Photographs
The weather in Maryland was beautiful for Mother's Day. Dolores and I spent the afternoon at the gardens and then the museum at Dumbarton Oaks in Washington, DC. The rose garden is especially beautiful and the peonies are in full bloom. If you have not visited Dumbarton Oaks, you should add that destination to your list of very special places in the District. The Dumbarton Oaks Museum has a wonderful pre-columbian art collection.
We are seeing new spring flowers in Kentlands, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on a daily basis. Now is the time to plant flowers and vegetables.
