What are the odds of finding Vegas Bob in Las Vegas?

In a recent blog post by Vegas Bob http://actvra.in/CZ9 he states in a comment when traveling to Las Vegas “It wouldn’t be very hard to find me”. In the spirit of Nevada's gambling history I was wondering what the odds would be that I would run into Vegas Bob on my next trip to Las Vegas in July. As a Home Inspector I'm skilled at looking for things so will this help me?

Some things that might increase the odds are that I will be there during a Holiday. July 4^th people are often out in the evening looking at fireworks. The other would be that I plan on going to Fremont Street and I know that Vegas Bob is down there regularly. I will also be going out to dinner and to the Las Vegas Chocolate Festival & Pastry Show.

Some things that might decrease my odds are most of my trip will be during the weekdays. Vegas Bob is often out of the area and might be due to the 4^th. We have never met so we might not recognize each other. Millions of people and endless places to go.

So we shall see how it all plays out. Maybe I should take bets.

Hello Rob ... Thanks so much for the post/blog about bumping into Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz in Las Vegas Nevada. Believe it or not I am usually around "The Strip" Las Vegas Blvd on the weekdays because there are less tourists down there on the weekdays. From time to time I will stroll down to "Fremont Street" Downtown Las Vegas to take videos of the bands.

Fourth of July I usually go to Roswell New Mexico for the UFO Celebration of the crash on July 4th 1947, but I will not be going this year ...

There are many, many tourists that come into Las Vegas on the Fourth of July, it is "Crazy" with 100s of 1000s of people on Las Vegas Blvd because the cross streets are shut down from Mandalay Bay all the way to Sahara and it is one HUGE street celebration on The Strip ...

I am usually down on Fremont when celebrating the Fourth of July, but this year I may just stroll down to The Strip on the cross streets of (The Bellagio, Paris Hotel, Planet Hollywood and The Cosmopolitan ... on Las Vegas Blvd ...

If you are in Las Vegas with all the 100s of 1000s of people for Fourth of July and you see a character that looks like this, it may just be VEGAS BOB ... ;o)

I want to know too, are we placing bets on this one? I think that the odds would increase if you walked up and down the strip with an alien in tow. Just sayin.....

(I may not have had the pleasure of meeting VB in person, but I do know what floats his boat, and aliens are at the top of the list.... give it a try....)

VB, I will keep an eye out for that shirt. I usually head down to Mermaids on Fremont to get a deep fried Twinkie while I watch the show on the canopy. I like the W&W hat. They built one of the places I worked at in San Jose back in the day.

Rob ... when I am down on Fremont I have been known to stop at Mermaids also for their fries & hot dogs! I working on projects in Las Vegas for W&W for around 4-5 years. Redrock Casino, Harmon Building at "City Center", Cosmopolitan, Marriott and more ...

After reading all of this the implication is that Vegas Bob is either an Alien or has been abducted at some point. This would explain his strange appearances all over the world. No doubt he is laying the ground work for the invasion. Also is Vegas just a big landing light for the aliens?

Hello Gene ... That's very funny and "Who told you my TOP SECRET information? There are more UFO sightings around AREA 51 then anywhere in the world ... "Why?"

Because almost all wreckage from crashes etc. end up at AREA 51 within the city under the ground. So the ET's keep buzzing around AREA 51 ... ;o)
