My 100 Day Attack - 50 Days gone already

100 day attack

A 4am start is developing as a habit. I seem to beat my phone alarm by two minutes ~ eager to start the day with thoughts that other time zones are already hunting breakfast and a commute. (Remember ~ I chose mainly home office, with attendant disciplines).

Our cats are used to my exercise routines (mainly dumbbell - subject to my 1.1 multiplier for reps and sets) seeking only to request out at rest points. With increased lung capacity I am coping better with challenges of summer, smoke  and dust in the air. I am even becoming tolerant of summer roadworks, probably because of better planning and realistic time lines for getting to meetings.

Part of my days are spent with headphones as I revisit my holdings of acquired knowledge. On the shelf represents past interest in various subjects - I chose well. Active listening has been producing real gems. Marshall Sylver notably comes to the fore with "A mind stretched, like a rubber band, never returns to its previous shape".

I am finding a surge in creativity, having an outlet in producing graphics to correspond with my increased Attack activity. Some of these appear with my posts to ActiveRain ~ my daily source of learning and inspiration. You people collectively know stuff!

Like an air flight I have expended major energy on the ascent and the straight and level of the first 50 days of the Attack. Now for the descent - my plan: absolute focus on my destination (and its rewards)

Bring on the next 50 days.

Michael - Previously found blogging and illustration difficult, but after some practise I seemed to get on a roll.

Richie - I have watched your impressive points roll up. Now I know your secret weapon. A free treat indeed.

I have read a good book called Compound Effort by Darren Hardy, and I recommend highly it follows the philosophy that you are employing. Creating successful habits. ***Remember success leaves clues***

Larry, keep it up.  I love when people change their routine and try to develop new, healthy habits.  Inspirational.  There is a big difference between thinking about doing something and actually doing it.

Larry good luck to you.  Keep us posted.  What is that old saying the early bird gets the worm.  Nothing quite like a plan and action coming together.

Wow, you have found a way to stay focused.  All of the real estate guru's preach what you are doing but very few actually follow the routine everyday.  Congrats.

Hi Larry... Way to go! Much continued success to you. Amazing what we can accomplished when motivated. Seven is early for me, I can't imagine four a.m. But then, I bet I'm up later than you.

Fernando - my destiny can't be too far down the track, so every bit helps. I am trying "I'm going to live forever - so far so good".

Malcolm -  4am is my choice. I seem to have adapted to it quite well.

Ann - my 100 Day Attacks are my sustained effort to improve my business, and to eliminate any inefficiencies that may have crept in. Major shift has been from natural introvert to extovert.

Lorainne or Loretta - thanks for the book lead. I always look up suggestions from others. Will let you know when I have it under my belt.

Gary - often a case of I don't know what I don't know. I'm all for adventure; it's the way I live my life.

Laura - a plan in action enables a goal. I like to allow for adjustments along the journey.

Dylan - hope my editing of the post to incorporate your suggestion is helpful. Thanks for exploring.

Chris and Dick - it's so easy to keep getting ready to get ready. I find the 100 Day Attacks to be the impetus I need.

Sandy - my 4am is only an hour before yours. I have had international mentors in decades past who suggested that there is a client awake somewhere in the world at any time. They carried on their businesses in that manner and were wildly successful. I still lean to business hours (and other living) being a personal choice.

Steph - good suggestion. I think I have reached the "mild swaying" stage instead. I can still urge others on.

Larry, all I can say is good for you for planning on and getting up at 4 am. I'm not there yet. I'll go back and read your other blogs to find out what's going on.

Adrian - it's the 10 day cycles, meeting of small goals, reviews and my 1.1 multiplier that urges progress. I feel good that you check in every so often. Thanks.

Eric - thanks for your interest. The early rising allows for the things I want to do: it is not felt as an imposition.

Judi - grat stuff, but feels good too, eh?

Melissa - glad I have sparked some interest. I like consistent, persistent effort fro progress.
