Working on my goals is an uplifting situation, my career happens to be: residential real estate sales. Fortunately when I began the career it turned into a very exciting passion, in Columbus Ohio. At the time I was driving a fork lift in a bicycle parts warehouse, and getting acheck every week for somewhere around $120. or $150. per week I would guess.
My first sale happened within 45 days and the check I got from my broker was for over: $800. !!!!! And I got 11 more of those checks during the next six months. So you can see why real estate has always been a passion for me.
In 2004 and 2006 I even published books about it. GOAL SETTING. What could be more motivating? More exciting?
The career quickly moved me to Phoenix Arizona where since 1980 I have been a real estate agent. Let me tell you right now... This profession is nothing what so ever like you think it is. You can go a couple or three months with NO checks what so ever. Then how about a $30,000 month! And you think you could never do that again, and the following month you earn: $32,000!
Having worked for more than 1,000 employers, I have seen exciting times, and many times I have GOAL SETTING, on my mind. About 28 years ago my wife and I attended a Anthony Robbins seminar where when Anthony was beginning his speaking career he was famous for having people WALK ON FIRE. Yes after a couple of hours of exciting seminar, we walked outside, into the night, into the dark and a very few of us out of a couple hundred people attending, along with Anthony Robbins walked bare footed on HOT BURNING COALS. Oh you may think I am nuts, or crazy, but you have not heard it all, Other things like a charity challenge, when I raised over $2,500 by playing 107 holes of golf in a single day.
Goal setting. What could be more motiving? More exciting?
By the way I am NEVER too busy for your real estate referrals.
