The Big Catch - Fresh Florida Seafood

My husband and his friend went flat fishing today from Hernando Beach, Florida. Just like any good fishermen they will not reveal the exact location and it will remain a secret. His big of catch of the day; however, is not. Here he is proudly holding his big catch of the day - a Redfish! It became dinner tonight.

Waterfront living is a lifestyle. Hernando Beach is a residential boating and fishing community located just North of Tampa on the Gulf of Mexico. From here you may go flat fishing, deep sea fishing or even scalloping. Redfish is just one variety of fish you might catch. Grouper, Mackerel, Seatrout, Shark, Bluefish and many others depending on season and fisherman's luck could just be your big catch!

Yum, you've made me hungry. What a great catch! We don't fish ourselves, but many Native Americans fish the Columbia right here in town and sell their day's catch... steelhead trout!

William, fishing can be fun, I haven't fished myself in a long time and I preferred to release. We have a whole bunch of different fish living under our dock, I feed them and one is named, he's been living there when we moved here eight years ago!
