New Exhibit at the MOSI in Tampa, Florida

Yesterday, I had the great pleasure to attend the Florida Chapter Opening of the German American Chamber of Commerce. The reception was held at the MOSI - Museum of Science and Industry - in Tampa, Florida.

In connection with the GACC reception, Dr. Claudia Hillinger, President of the Max Planck Florida Foundation, invited attendees to view a be new exhibit of Microscopic Images on a Cellular Level that is sponsored by the Max Planck Florida Foundation.

What an amazing collection of images! They reveal the diversity of nature in a way we cannot see it with our own eyes so science is helping us to take a closer look - literally. Bacteria, hair, skin, cells...all magnified in the extreme, they show extremely colorful with impressive forms and shapes.

The MOSI is located at 4801 E. Fowler Rd in Tampa, Florida. It can easily reached from Spring Hill via US 41 in about 70 minute drive. In addition to permanent and special exhibits, there is also a Planetarium and the newest attraction, a Zipline!
