Chinsegut Conservation Center Presentation on Sandhill Cranes

The Chinsegut Conservation Center in Brooksville, Florida, is offering a special presentation on Sandhill Cranes

on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The program will explain many of the unique rituals of these beautiful birds that we can observe so frequently around Hernando County, Florida just like this pair that I photographed iwalking along a street in Hernando Beach.

The Conservation Center is located at 23212 Lake Lindsey Rd (CR 476), Brooksville, Florida. Admission is FREE.

The Chinsegut Conservation Center is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

There are wildlife trails and the center offers numerous educational programs throughout the year about native Florida wildlife.

Hi Silvia, Great looking sand cranes and I wish I was there to see it. As a matter a fact I was in Miami Wednesday but just there to fly home. Would like to stay again soon for a few days or a week or two.

Hi Silvia, Great photo and program being offered by the Chinsegut Conservation Center. Last December we were in Florida for my first visit and we had a few of these cranes visit the local bird feeder. Beautiful birds. You are lucky to have them in your neighborhood.
