Boat Judging 5PM-7PM
Along with walking along the docks and seeing all of the boats decked out for the holidays you can also enjoy refreshments at the marina and end the evening with a firework display over the Occoquan River. This event is always well attended by both boat owners but those of who have boat envy. Santa who arrives by boat at the start of the event can be found wandering around the marina during the event.
In conjunction with the annual lighting of the boats the Prince William Marina also conducts a "boat load of hope" collection of toys and non-perishable food items to benefit local families in need.
Prince William Marina is a full service marina offering new and used boats for sale, a full repair facility, 340 boat slips and storage for an additional 270 boats.. The CEO of Prince William Marina is Carlton Phillips who has owned the marina for over 25 years and is a strong supporter of the local community.
So take a little time off from the holiday rush and stop by the Prince William Marina on Route 123 (just off 95 S at the Lake Ridge exit) and take in the great lights, refreshments and fireworks. I've made the trip for the last two years and the creativity of the boat owners is to be admired.
