I took this picture the other day when I was driving through the rural area in the Inland Empire.

They were playing together and the baby was on the ground rolling in the grass and the mom was nudging him. I couldn’t get close enough to get a clear photo.

I love the commercials when they are pulling the wagons through the mountain roads as the horses are beautiful. I read recently that they do not run as fast because of their bone structure. But they are sure beauties.

Hi Ritchie,

It takes some doing to get an animal to stay still while doing a pedicure. My terrier has been going to the groomers since she was little but funny thing she doesn't mind the groomers painting her toes but doesn't want me to touch her feet. Spoiled little girl. So you have horses Ritchie? I always wanted to have a country home with horses and a few chickens running around too. It is hard to do that here in California. How fun!

Baby horses are absolutely adorable! And, I have been a fan of the Budweiser Clydesdales for as long as I can remember. Several years ago, they came to my town for a 3 day stint during the 4th of July. They were housed at the park a couple blocks from home. I didn't realize they were coming. I collared up my dog, and we went for our regular early morning walk at dawn. Imagine when I turned the corner into the park, and the mists from the park's pond and lawn were illuminated by the rising sun. . .And then, through the mists, the Clydesdales. It was absolutely magical! It was one of those pivotal moments that I learned the importance of ALWAYS carrying your camera!

Yes it does should wonderful and it is true we should always have a camera and now the little point and shoot cameras give beautiful pictures. The picture I took at the LA Fair above in the comments section, I didn't expect to see them so I was so excited too. They are majestic and pulling a wagon is just so special. It makes you feel proud to be an American.

Yes I do not even drink beer but the commercials they had for years on TV were my favorite and I would always watch them and now I realize why; the mountain roads, the horses and the wagon and the announcer. It was just a great ad. The horses look like they really enjoy themselves pulling the wagons.

Yes that is so true and this little guy might be pulling the wagon with the others in about 8 months. It amazes me how much they weigh when they are born but even more how big they get when they are full grown.
