Super Heroes & Super Jobs ~ La Habra Children's Museum

By

The City of La Habra is well known for its famous Children's Museum. I've written about it several times myself, it's such a fun place. And now, the newest exhibit spotlighting every day heroes is no exception.

Pint size visitors have the opportunity to get up close and  try-on costumes of fire fighters and police officers to name a few.  The objective of this exhibit is for the kids to experience first hand the merits of being a public servant, learning the values of providing to others.

This hands-on exhibit has transformed this gallery into a mini-city with kiddie police cars and to "drive" around town.

This special exhibit just opened and runs through June 8th. This is one you won't want to miss. Take some time to spend with your kids or grandkids; you will be glad you did.  By the way, this place is filled with fun "hands-on" exhibits in each section of the gallery.

See more on the La Habra Children's Museum here; it's based on a prior visit with my own grandkids. Kyle and Katie are in pictured in costume on the stage in one of the exhibit.

The La Habra Children's Museum is located in Portola Parkat 301 South Euclid, La Habra 90631 next door to the La Habra Depot Theater and the La Habra Tennis Center.  The area is just South of La Habra Blvd. and North of Lambert Rd in the heart of La Habra.

Lynda - what a great museum! We had something similar back East that was very popular and hands-on. Great localism post, and love the photos.

Lynda - This is such a great place.  Can't wait till my new grand baby is old enough for me to take him or her there.  We're about a month away from delivery date.  I've loved the stories you've shared with me about taking your grandkids there.

Lynda,

What a wonderful idea! My sons would have been in heaven if something like this museum was available in my area when they were little.  I know we would have spent LOTS of time there.

Adorable picture of your grandchildren....it looks like they really enjoy going there.

Oh, how fun to have interactive exhibits.  My grandkids love things like this, and two of them are just the right ages at 4 and 6.
