IT'S TIME TO SUPPORT LOCAL AGRICULTURE

AT THE 4^th ANNUALBALTIMORECOUNTY FARMERS MARKET

AT THE MARYLAND STATE FAIRGROUNDS

OPENING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5 AT ITS NEW TIME -- 10 AM - 1 PM

It's that time of year again!!  I have been waiting for this since the Farmer's Market closed down last October!!  There's nothing quite like fresh fruit and vegetables grown locally to wet your appetite.  Want something new to chew on?  Approximately 10 Local Baltimore County Farmers and Producers will offer high quality fresh local produce, meats, flowers, herbs, baked goods, milk, ice cream, pet treats and more at the 4^th Annual Baltimore County Farmers Market at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. 

             DATES:           Every Wednesday, June 5 - October 30, 2013

TIME:             10 AM – 1 PM

LOCATION:   Conveniently located with free parking at the

Maryland State Fairgrounds Main Gate (next to the digital sign and The Flower Tent)

2200 York Road, Timonium, MD  21093

You'll find a variety of fresh in-season fruit and vegetables starting with strawberries, asparagus, spinach, lettuce, spring onions and more will be available each week. Chicken, beef, eggs, honey, milk and ice cream are just a few of the other featured local items that you'll also find available at the various vendors. 

Among the participating Baltimore County Farmers will be:  Albright Farms; The Hiding Place; Hills Forest Fruit Farm; One Straw Farm (a local Community Supported Agriculture or CSA); Prigel’s Family Creamery; Quite A Stir Bakers; Warns Produce Farm; White House Fresh Flowers; and more. 

The Baltimore County Farmers Market at the Maryland State Fairgrounds is authorized to accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP), WIC Fruit & Vegetable and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Stamps.
