Things to do with Kids on the Crystal Coast #3
I have to give my friend, Rita Roberts, credit for the next item in my series, Things to do with kids on the Crystal Coast. Tan Man was hanging out with his good friend Matthew yesterday, and Matthew's mom, Rita, took them thrift store shopping. When Tan Man returned home, he had developed a new skill and was the proud new owner of a battery operated High Powered Water Gun (for only $.50)! Rita taught the boys how to find treasures and save money on their purchases :-)
3. Go on a Treasure Hunt by visiting one (or all) of the many wonderful thrift stores located on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. Not only may you find your very own treasure, but you can teach your kids the meaning of being "thrifty" and they will also learn about recycling. In the process, you will be helping support local & national charity organizations.... the icing on the cake!
