Season's Greetings!
Usually around this time of the month I'm hitting you with a big challenge to leave 50 comments, write 20 posts and write a bunch of hyperlocal posts. December is a busy month, we have our businesses to run, family and friends to entertain, our winter round of MeetUps and of course our daily social activities. It doesn't mean we get a break from business but let's spread a little love this Cloudburst. After all, it feels pretty good to spread cheer.
This December 1,000 points can be yours. All you have to do is brighten someone's day. Pay it forward, here are some ideas:
Pick up the tab at a restaurant for an unsuspecting table.
Pay for somebody's order behind you in the Drive-Thru.
Bring your neighbors trash cans up to their house.
Clean out your closet and donate what you don't need.
Donate blood.
Set up a Food Drive.
Give a warm coat to a homeless person.
Buy flowers for someone and surprise them just because.
Drop off a toy to the hospital.
Give the book you just read and loved to a friend.
Clean up litter on walks around your neighborhood.
Write a positive Yelp review for someone's business.
Drop off baked goods to your neighbors.
Leave encouraging post-it notes around random places.
Send a care package to somebody in the military.
Write a handwritten note to an old friend.
If someone tries to pay you back or ask what they can do in response to your kindness, tell them to pay it forward.
Do as many random acts of kindness as you see fit. They don't have to be from the list above, those are just inspiration. You have until December 31st, fill out the form below and 1,000 points will be yours in early January.
