Single Property Web Sites with a Virtual Tour

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with George Sheldon Photographer

Here is a nifty way to market a listing: use a single property web site.

It's easy! And cost effective, too!

Buy a domain name, like 123MainStreet.com, and point the domain to your virtual tour. Here is a good example:

www.1770eversedgedrive.com

Now, in any advertisement, include the Web site. All the information the prospective homebuyer needs is on your virtual tour. This is a great way to promote the listing and yourself!

Tip: you might want to try the .info domain -- they are even cheaper than the .com's!

George - You are right  but take it one step further if you control your own web site set them up as a sub-site on your own thereby increasing your web site traffic instead of someone else's.

George,

If you post your listing to Localism with the address as the title doesn't that work the same way?

That's cool George. You can also promote your business in much the same way. Check out:

I have been doing this for a while now and my clients think it's great when I mask one of their tours with my sample domains. I have virtual tour sample 1, 2 and 3... I left the rest for you guys! You can have 4 to infinity!

Take care...

Chris

I like the idea of individual property websites, but there are many to choose from. The one I like best so far is with http://www.classifiedflyerads.com/ It creates the individual website with the property address for around $9 if you are are a member. I am currently paying $18 month for membership. There are also many other benefits of being a member. Here is a link to my individual website http://www.203StansburyWay.com

I would be very interested in seeing other people's individual website listings for comparison/ideas.

I almost forgot: Don't forget to put a sign in the yard pointing to the single property website!

Great ideas everyone!  I've been a huge fan of the PanoRiders, but haven't quite been successful with my clients yet....  something to do with my sites being flash or not flash- I don't really understand all that, but it wouldn't pop up in an address bar search if you just typed in the address and left out the www. - does anyone else have issues with that?

I am LOVING Kathy's suggestion though with the free linking within your own site?  Hmmm- so many things to think about!!  And sites to explore.  Thanks again for sharing!
