So this report is coming a bit late, but I have to start somewhere! Here is the real estate market report for the city of Cedar Park in February 2014. As you can see, all the indicators are positive. The average price of homes in Cedar Park has climbed over $13,000 in a year and while sales have not outpaced February 2013, nor last month, the market is brisk and higher prices are being fueled by low inventory. Cedar Park is definitely a "seller's market"!
My top 5 neighborhoods are an unscientific analysis of the pins on the map of home sales, so don't go checking this against "official data"! This is simply an indication of the direction that the flow is headed and where the most activity has been, visually. I'm sure someone out there has a wonderful algorithm to spit that data right out, but not me! I just want to keep you apprised of the patterns.
You can bet that March's real estate numbers for the city of Cedar Park TX will be stellar when they come out next week. Stay tuned to see how many of those pending contracts get to the closing table. Inventory is low, but it is driving home prices up!
