The replacement trees in Marina Del Rey, CA 90292 so what do you think?

As you might remember I expressed my concerns when on Admiralty Way the County removed the large trees and endangered the natural habitat of the birds and other wild life. Then the County Politicians reassured all those who complained that we should not worry the trees will be replaced with trees that are more Eco-Friendly and better for the wild life and the community….

Well I am enclosing a link to my post   http://actvra.in/MlQ  . Well look at the tree trunks and look at the replacement trees.

Marina Del Rey Realtor Endre Barath, Replacement trees in MDR

Well you tell me what do you think? Look at the trees in the middle of the road where the divider is. Can you see all those birds that used to live on these large trees live on the replacement trees? Tell me where am I going wrong? Here we are “politicians being politicians” what happened to Honesty and Integrality in the political arena? Those who spoke should clearly be voted out. The evidence speaks louder than the politicians.

They just did this near me, tore out big beautiful trees and put in scrawny stragglers. Why?  I don't know.  Makes no sense.

Chris  they gave a less than adequate explanation here as well,  the worst part was they claimed they would not disturb nature and it would be with "native, drought resistant" vegetation....

Endre, it seems the money the politicians spent on the trees would have been better spent on environmental research.

The trees have to start somewhere and it looks like the ones that were in there originally would be tearing up the curbs and streets, since their roots were close or on the surface.

Hi Endre,

Not very big for all the homeless birdies thanks to the tree removal. The only trees I feel should be replaced are those big palm trees as they uproot sidewalks, walls, and house vermin like rats and bats. Hopefully the trees will grow fast.
