Choose Health ... Make Morning Exercise a Daily Ritual!!

 

I had to start with this cute picture ... I am asked all of the time if I am a runner.  I am not, but could be if I had this big boy behind me.

 

Do you have a morning ritual and if you do, is exercise a part of that ritual?

 

I have found that doing exercise in the morning helps me to wake up easier, I have more energy, enhances my mental clarity, and I maintain that energy thru out the day.  It also helps me to maintain a positive mood.

 

On cooler mornings I so enjoy taking one of our dogs and go out for a brisk walk around the neighborhood.  It gets me out and moving .. heart rate up .. fills my lungs with oxygen and gets the blood moving.

Now that a quote worth repeating..."If you don't make time for exercise, you'll probably have to make time for illness." 

Three times a week for me but it needs to be daily. Thanks for the inspiration.

Absolutely Judith!  I run and bike at least 3-4 times a week and do weights every other morning.  There's nothing better than being in shape and feeling good about yourself.

I confess I have fallen off the wagon with the building of the house. The day starts with picking out this and that and then real estate has been bustling. I will get back in routine when we move next month.

Judith, I just read an article that stated that women should be walking, running, biking or swimming daily to reduce the incidence of breast cancer, and yoga doesn't count.  So, I will think about that bear every morning chasing me!

Thanks Judith, I needed to hear that message, never seem to make time for exercise.

Cute picture too, in my business we do see a lot of bears, most of them running, but we always see their backsides and only the front for a few seconds before they start to run.

Maybe we are part of their exercise program.
