Mortgage and Lending with George Souto NMLS #65149 NMLS #65149

Even though the New Britain Parks & Rec Elementary & Middle School Basketball League starts today, there is still time to get your child registered.  Children who register for the New Britain Parks & Rec Elementary & Middle School Basketball League will be randomly assigned to a team so all teams have a balanced number of players.

All games are held at the New Britain High School and coaches will notify players of where practices will be held.  First game is today Saturday, December 13, 2014 and run through Saturday, March 14, 2015.

This is a great opportunity for elementary and middle school children to stay active and involved during the winter months.  So do not wait,  call the New Britain Parks & Rec Department today at (860) 826-3360, and register your child for the New Britain Parks & Rec Elementary & Middle School Basketball League.

Good morning George. I too feel that it is good for kids to get involved with sports early on. It helps build character and teamwork.

George: Programs like this are a wonderful way to teach kids about teamwork and working towards a common goal. Good job of getting this information to area consumers.

Great program to give the younger ones something to do during the winter.  I believe we have a similar program in Glastonbury, although my "kids" are grown and gone so I do not follow those programs as closely as I once did.

Thanks for sharing.

Sigh... I remember how exciting it was whenever I got to do head, shoulders, knees and toes when I was in grade school. These kids are really lucky because they are getting more nutritious meals and lots of good exercises and they are learning how to be part of a team too!

Joe, This brings back so many memories of the days when my son was young and all the sports he played.  It's so important for kids to get exercise and learn how to be a team player.

Hi George great service to the consumers in reminding them what they may have put off until your post was read. Sometimes it takes a little friendly push to get it done and go on to something else. Have a nice evening.
